The Chikara ‘HOW TO’ HALF HOUR is a quick fire highly focused look at just one thing!
These quick fire mini lessons will be theory + a demo and will happen after lessons on the last Saturday of every month

COST: R50 per person, cash on the day

TODAY’S TOPIC (Presented by M): HOW TO PUT ON BOOTS CORRECTLY (brushing/tendon and boxing)

Whether at competitions, schooling at home, hacking on the roads or for use while your horse is turned out; protective boots for your horse can help to prevent injuries, abrasions and hefty vet bills.
In order to ensure your horse’s legs are well protected, it’s important that any exercise boots are fitted correctly – this will also help to keep your horse comfortable during their use by eliminating pressure points.
Learn …
– the difference between tendon and brushing boots
– how to tell back from front
– how to tell left from right
– what size to get for your horse
– how tight to make them

All proceeds will go towards upgrading yard facilities (floodlights at the arena, anyone? ;)) so please come and support – these are open to everyone, friends; riders and non riders alike!
Feel free to request a topic you’d like to see covered.
