Equine 1st aid introduces us to the primary rules of first aid for your horse. Wound care, vital signs, basic steps of first aid and goes through items for a first aid kit for emergency care.
What to do in emergencies, including choking and colics.
Presented by Cameron Becker, a qualified paramedic who has ridden and grown up with horses all his life, and has had extensive experience in emergency services and teaching human first aid courses. Cameron has come to be aware of the similarity between how one treats a person and a horse in an emergency.
Equine 1st aid kits will be on sale on the day.
